LOCAL FOOTBALL COUNCIL ELECTION 2023

It was a show of shame at LOCAL FOOTBALL COUNCIL ELECTION at TESLIM BALOGUN STADIUM, LAGOS STATE. We witnessed the situation where election process was conducted. The names of Election delegates, candidates names and position was manipulated by electoral committee led by ALHAJI TIJANI AZEEZ, influenced by LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION Chairman( MR. FUAD OKI) Transparency and integrity is totally missing in this LFC ELECTION and from the look of things, football stakeholders are being sidelined. LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION CHAIRMAN " MR. FUAD OKI" is bringing in some politicians to take the place of Coaches and football stakeholders to take over football affairs in Lagos State. People are seeing this as the beginning of great problem for football in lagos state This will destroy football totally in lagos. What happened on Monday 24th July, 2023 is very far from the essence of creating LOCAL FOOTBALL COUNCIL at each Local government in Lagos State. The truth is, LFC is meant to be running by Football Stakeholders & Football Coaches not politicians they are bringing in from the back doors. This looks to people that this present LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION administration would be far far worse than the past administrations. They are clueless and have no good agenda for LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL. Now what people are saying is, this present LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION headed by MR. FUAD OKI doesn't look like the one that will bring the transformation and true development people of LAGOS STATE are yearning for. WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD FOR LAGOS FOOTBALL???

MOHBAD: Lagos Commissioner of Police announced the commencement of full investigation into the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji AKA Mohbad on September 12th 2023. He further revealed that, in the overriding public interest, the Command has setup a special investigative team to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of the victim, identify witnesses, culprits if any and any person that will be helpful to the investigative process and deploy processes and other technological tools to aid the investigative course in line with the relevant provisions of the Nigeria.
